National Park Picos de Europa is one of the natural areas of reference in Spain with some of the most spectacular and stunning landscapes in the mountains.

Route description: We started
Sotres road near a sharp curve called the Curvona (906 m). From here we will go off road, past the Winter of Texu to reach the hill Pandebano (1218 m.), thus saving us 1 hour 15 minutes of good climb up the track.
This hill is one of the places where you can see one of the most extraordinary views of the Peaks: the bottom of the valley the village of Bulnes, and left the Naranjo de Bulnes Urriellu Picu, the Athos and Neverones, among other peaks of the sector.
Pandebano From the pass we began to walk along a path on the left that leads to the hillside to a group of huts, the fold of the Terena, where is the refuge of the same name and where a source (1330 m). This should fill the water bottle and we will not find in the rest of the tour.

The Picu Urriellu, Naranjo de Bulnes, or simply the PICU, with 2518 m, is one of the emblematic English mountaineering summits, especially the 550 m vertical wall of its west side.
