Nearby Integral Natural Reserve of Muniellos, is Forest Road Moal , beautiful route essential to obtain a complete picture of the great forests that populate the region and the natural area Muniellos.
The start of the route is in the people of Moal, gateway to Muniellos. From here we will go to the Chapel of San Julian, where we turn left and cross the River. Follow the track that gentle climb brings us a beautiful chestnut with an abundance of "corripas" buildings used to store the nuts and where they are left to cure for hedgehogs to fall off easily.
started to climb up through an impressive and dense beech forest until you reach a crossroad that leads to the Mirador de Montecinos which overlooks a fantastic view of the bottom of the Integral Nature Reserve Muniellos, villages and Oballe Moal and Connio port.
past the gazebo, we reached the saddle of the Moncada barracks where we turn down a narrow and difficult path begins to drop sharply, and is forced to walk slowly to avoid slipping, especially in wet weather.
finally reached a wider road that leads back to lossless Moal, beginning of course.
